I’m a People Director at the Co-op, based at our Angel Square head office in Manchester. I’m currently working on a programme to transform our Retail business and lead the HR team who provide central payroll, resourcing and advisory services to over 62,000 colleagues. It’s an exciting time to be part of the Co-op and we’re committed to championing a better way of doing business in the communities we serve: #ItsWhatWeDo.
Finding a better way to do things, and seeking to improve life chances for everyone, are commitments that I take with me into my role as a Co-op nominated Governor. I know it is well matched by the passion and energy I see from all those involved in CAS. I’m proud to have joined the Governing body in June 2016 and look forward to supporting the Academy in the years ahead. I chair the Finance and Operations Committee and also support the Student Wellbeing Committee. I’m keen to play my part in ensuring all students and staff involved with the Academy reach their full potential, and we fulfil our promise to provide great learning, support and experience for everyone.
