Transition update for new parents, carers and student

Dear Parents and Carers

At Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent we pride ourselves on our amazing support for the transition of students from Year 6 to Year 7. I know that now is a very worrying time for many students and their families and I would like to reassure you that here at Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent we are experienced with making that transition journey as smooth as possible and as supportive as possible for you all.

I am in the process of putting together a transition support booklet which will go online via our webpage during May. I am also in contact with all our partner and feeder Year 6 teachers via video conference calls and telephone calls to gain as much information about each child as possible.

Some of our fantastic leaders and students are creating booklets and we hope to make some videos too, which may answer many of the questions that you have.

Please reassure your children that we will do everything in our power to make their first experiences at Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent a very positive one! Stay safe and take care.
