I have been teaching in the Tunstall area for all of my working life.  Nearly twenty years later and I can sincerely say that I have never regretted a single moment.

It has been wonderful to see the Academy grow into such a diverse, strong and reputable school which Ofsted judges as ‘Good with Outstanding Features’.

My role as Senior Assistant Vice Principal for Inclusion and Behaviour celebrates the fact that there is social harmony within the Academy with over 33 languages spoken and that poor behaviour is kept to a minimum. Any barriers to learning are addressed and removed. It is an inclusive Academy where students feel safe, valued and supported.

My other role as the Lead Designate Safeguarding Officer sees me relentlessly serving this community to ensure that our children are protected and safe.

Working in partnership with our parents/carers is the key to the Academy’s success. Attendance is improving along with our attainment outcomes.
