I began my teaching career at the predecessor school, Brownhills High School in 2006 as an eager newly qualified teacher. Having lived in Stoke-on-Trent all my life, I am proud to have spent over a decade helping shape the futures of young people in this area. 

I have been lucky enough to have gained a wealth of experience from starting as a classroom  teacher to that of Head of Business Studies to leading as the Head of Student Services. My passion is to empower students to explore their potential and I am committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where young people can thrive.

I am excited to take on a new role as Interim Assistant Headteacher: KS4 Culture & Progress and help ensure all our students are ready for the next chapter in their journey after they complete their 5 years with us. It is a privilege and honour to work in this Academy and I hope to have a  meaningful impact on the lives of young individuals I teach and help students discover their potential and achieve their dreams.
