I embarked on my journey into education in 2013 following an over decade long career within the homeless sector.  Since qualifying as a Religious Education teacher, I have held diverse teaching posts in schools across the country and have had the privilege of seeing students embrace their potential and flourish personally and academically.  A passion fuelling my journey is to see students encounter ‘light bulb’ moments where knowledge, skills, and confidence merge.  

I joined the Academy in 2020 as part of the Humanities department, leading to my promotion to become Head of Year in 2021.  Having served this role for two years, I seized the opportunity to take my first senior leader post as an Assistant Headteacher, starting in September 2023, 

This current role is to have oversight of Key Stage 3, facilitating a culture of excellence in academic commitment, progress and celebration.  I believe our students have the potential and the best opportunities to thrive every day they are in the academy.  My commitment is to maximise this potential for every student and support their journey towards success.
