I joined Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent in September 2022. Born and raised in the Potteries, it is an honour and a privilege to be able to both teach and help to lead the school where my grandma was a pupil. 

My teaching career began during my languages degree, when I undertook a teaching assistantship in a secondary school and sixth form in La Réunion, a French island in the Indian Ocean. 

Following this, I took up a post at a large 11-18 school in London through the TeachFirst training programme. In my time at that school, I was fortunate to undertake a range of different roles, inclding Head of House, Head of Faculty and Assistnat Principal.

At Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent, my main area of focus is our students' Personal Development. I fundementally believe that students at our school shuld have as many opportunities as any other school in the country, and my job is to make sure hthat students are aware of thos eopportunities and make the best of them. I want every student from Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent to be able to go to the university or career of their choice.
