Raising Awareness of and Funds for Breast Cancer Now
On Friday 18th, Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent held a cake and doughnut sale in support of Wear It Pink Day, raising over £200 for Breast Cancer Now. Organised by Mrs Tatton and supported by the Co-op Young Leaders (CYLs), the event brought students and staff together to raise awareness and vital funds for the cause.
The CYLs helped manage the stall, where cakes, doughnuts, and Breast Cancer ribbon pin badges were sold. Many staff and students wore the pink ribbons with pride, while numerous staff members also joined in by donning pink clothing in a show of solidarity.
All proceeds will go directly to Breast Cancer Now, helping to fund essential research and awareness efforts. It was a fantastic day of fundraising, and the academy is proud of the collective effort in supporting such an important cause.
