Funding
Please see below details of our Pupil Premium funding and schools Financial benchmarking information.
The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011 and the funding, in addition to main school funding, is to help address national inequalities between the achievement of children from low-income families.
In the 2024 to 2025 financial year, schools will receive £1050 funding for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years and £2570 for each looked-after or adopted student.
The funding is spent in a range of ways, outlined in the comprehensive online strategy. Each year, the impact of spending is evaluated to ensure that disadvantaged students are receiving the most benefits and that the Academy is achieving the best value for money. These students are also systematically tracked so that underachieving students receive timely and targeted interventions.
