Today marked a proud moment at Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent as the very first Headteacher’s Achievement Awards were presented. This new initiative celebrates outstanding student achievements, recognising those who go above and beyond in their dedication, resilience, and success.
The first two recipients were Luo Chen and Roza, following their fantastic performances at last week’s Co-op Academies Trust Public Speaking Competition. Their powerful and thought-provoking speeches impressed both judges and audiences, earning them well-deserved recognition. Read more about the competition below:
As part of their award, Luo Chen and Roza spent some time sitting down with Mr Richardson, Headteacher, to discuss their achievements in detail. This personal recognition allowed them to reflect on their hard work and dedication, reinforcing the academy’s commitment to celebrating excellence.
To mark the occasion, both students received gift bags filled with treats as a token of appreciation from Mr Richardson. It was a well-deserved celebration of their success and a reminder to all students that determination and ambition are always recognised and valued.
The Headteacher’s Achievement Awards will continue to highlight remarkable student accomplishments throughout the year, and we look forward to seeing more of our students recognised for their dedication and achievements in the future. Congratulations to Luo Chen and Roza on this incredible honour!
