Talented Chefs Ready to Cook Up a Storm!
The excitement is heating up at Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent as our talented young chefs prepare for the upcoming Trust Culinary Competition! We are thrilled to announce that six pairs of students have been selected from a large number of enthusiastic entrants to compete in the challenge, and they have excelled in two recent preparation sessions.
With the practice and preparation sessions now complete, our competitors have refined their skills, strengthened their teamwork, and developed their creative cooking techniques. They are now ready to face the ultimate test in the upcoming competition!
The competition itself will take place after school on Friday, 14th March. Until then, the competitors will not know what they will be asked to cook or bake—adding an extra layer of excitement and challenge! On the day, each team will receive a selection of ingredients provided by Co-op and must create a delicious dish within just one hour. A panel of judges will taste and score each creation, with the best dish earning a coveted place in the grand final at Angel Square, Manchester. We can’t wait to see what our talented young chefs will create under pressure. Good luck to all our competitors—may the best dish win!
