Year 10 Students Explore Opportunities at Apprenticeships Expo

As part of National Apprenticeships Week, a group of Year 10 students from Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent attended the Big Apprenticeships Expo at the bet365 Stadium, where they had the chance to explore a wide range of career pathways.

The event brought together apprenticeship providers, employers, and training organisations, giving students a valuable opportunity to speak directly with industry professionals and learn more about the different routes available after GCSEs. From engineering and healthcare to business and digital industries, students discovered the vast range of apprenticeships on offer and the skills needed to succeed in various careers.

The visit was an eye-opening experience, helping students to consider new possibilities and better understand the benefits of apprenticeships as an alternative to traditional education routes. Many students left the event feeling inspired and excited about their future options.

A huge thank you to the organisers of the expo for providing such a fantastic insight into the world of apprenticeships. Well done to our Year 10 students for representing the Academy so brilliantly and making the most of this opportunity!
