Year 10 and 11 Students Receive Emergency First Aid Training

Students in Year 10 and Year 11 took part in essential emergency first aid training during their Life Skills lessons, thanks to a visit from Cookson First Aid. This training session, which Cookson kindly provided free of charge, gave students hands-on experience in life-saving techniques, equipping them with the confidence and skills to act in an emergency situation.
During the sessions, students learned how to put someone in the recovery position, perform chest compressions, and correctly use a defibrillator. These are critical skills that could make a real difference in an emergency, whether at home, school, or in the wider community.
A huge thank you to Cookson First Aid for delivering such an engaging and valuable session. Knowing how to respond in a medical emergency is an important skill for everyone, and we are proud to see our students gaining this vital knowledge.
