Ahmed was selected by our visiting First Story author to submit some of his writing & apply for one of the 16 fully funded places on the prestigious First Story Writing Residential. 

We are delighted to announce that Ahmed has been awarded a place and will be spending a week in Hebden Bridge over summer. He'll be writing with, and receiving feedback from, professional authors, alongside cooking, gardening & exploring the area with the other young writers.

Mr. Richardson presented Ahmed with the Headteacher's Award, in recognition of his successful application. We're sure that he will make the most of all of the opportunities on offer and look forward to hearing all about his week.
