Celebrating Year 11 Mock Results
On the final day of term, Year 11 students came together for a special Mock Results Afternoon to reflect on their hard work and achievements. With snacks and festive touches setting the scene, the event marked a celebratory moment after weeks of dedication and effort.
Mrs Tatton, Head of Year 11, shared her pride in the students’ accomplishments: “I am very proud of the positive attitudes and amount of effort the Year 11s have put into their first set of mock exams. Preparing for these exams has required students to plan their time and commit to additional revision sessions, both in the academy and at home. This is the first time the students have sat formal exams in the sports hall, which is a daunting prospect. They all did exceptionally well, and their hard work has paid off. They now have four weeks to prepare for their next set of mocks, and I am sure they will produce top-quality results and show the same level of determination and dedication to their learning. Well done, Year 11!”
The afternoon was a chance to acknowledge the challenges students had faced, from revising effectively to managing the pressure of formal exams, while also looking ahead to the next set of mocks with renewed determination.
Congratulations to all our Year 11s on their achievements so far—keep up the fantastic work as you prepare for the next stage of your journey!
