Mr Haywood and his team had previously won Series 19 of the show, a remarkable achievement in itself. In the special episode broadcast over Christmas, they went up against another team of former champions, tackling fiendishly difficult questions across the game’s iconic rounds, including the Connections Wall and the Missing Vowels round.

With great teamwork and speedy responses, Mr Haywood’s team rose to the challenge, showcasing their incredible knowledge and earning the prestigious title of Champion of Champions.

It’s no surprise that Mr Haywood brings this same enthusiasm and skill into his role as a teacher. Students in his Board Games Club have the privilege of learning from a true champion, and his passion for problem-solving and strategy is sure to inspire them.
